Aim of the course:

Numerous methods are known to improve manual skills, among which modern simulators provide near real-life scenarios and opportunities for practicing complex interventions with objective feedback. As part of the course, we provide an opportunity for praticing basic surgical arthroscopic, endoscopic and vascular catheterization interventions on simulators accompanied by manual skill assessment.

Tematics

  1. The role of skill education and simulation opportunities in medical education. (lecture)
  2. How do simulators work? Demonstration and basic exercises. Skills assessment opportunities. (lecture)
  3. Individual basic exercises on arthroscopic, endoscopic and vascular catheterization simulators (2 hours of practice, 5 times)
