Surgical suturing materials, groups, their application during different types of surgical procedures. Absorbable, non-absorbable suture material. The correct decision of suture material during an intervention of the gastrointestinal, urogenital and parenchymal organs. Suggestions for handling the suture materials in atraumatic techniques.
10.00-12.00 Practice: Taking stitches into parenchymal organs, ureter and urinary bladder.
13.00-13.45 Lecture: The role of suture materials in plastic and reconstructive surgery
14.00-16.00 Practice: Application of different suture materials in microsurgery
