Aim of the course
Attainment of basic conceptions and relations in hemorheology, analyses of the characteristic hemorheological changes in different pathophysiological processes, underlying the ischemia-reperfusion injury. Supporting of the development of complex attitude with hemorheological and microcirculatory basic knowledge.
Tematics
Lecture 1: Historical background. Basic definitions in hemorheology. Overviewing related biophysical and physiologial issues.
Lecture 2: Hemorheological and microcirculatory measurement methods, laboratory techniques.
Lecture 3: Comparative hemorheology: inter-species and gender differences. Aspects and considerations in experimetal hemorheology
Lecture 4: Hemorheological and microcirculatory alteratiions in various pathophysiological processes and disorders.
Lecture 5: Hemorheological and microcirculatory changes in ischemia-reperfusion.
